Illthy Toonz

the strobe tuner that refuses to twitch

A true strobe tuner: the scrolling LCD is the meter, the way a strobe should be. No needle. The bands drift when you’re off and crawl to a dead stop as you land it. Fast and reliable on every string, standard through 8-string and drop tunings.

Zero latency, pure pass-through. Your signal is untouched. Same tuner brain that lives in NoAMP.

The LCD

Illthy Toonz, the five-band strobe LCD with the big note readout
Reading the strobe: ten seconds

1. Play one string and let it ring.

2. Bars scroll one way = sharp, the other = flat. Finer bands up top read finer error.

3. Tune until the bars stand still and the hub glows — that’s locked. Done.

Numeric cents/Hz, the A4 (415–466), the Response feel knob and Transpose (capos) are all right there. Full reference on the Toonz manual page.
